Hey folks, just wanted to share some little things;

1st up: I can't believe it but seaweed in the form of nori sheets has become my new favorite snack, it's crispy yummy goodness gives me a super healthy treat come munch time.

2nd: My kid's book project is finished check out the set here:




3rd: The next project is a trio of shirt designs. Here is one that died on the vine (tell me what you think):

So I just complete my first school assignment, it was to design an image in the sprite of the WPA posters of the "new deal" era. Here are some thumbnail idea's I had at the start:

Cook with Friends

So what's next? A children's book based on "Jack and the beanstalk."

Two words on my take: Hen Heist!

A dinner of tiny fish on toast.

So I never really liked sardine, not that odd I think. I then saw a resent episode of Good Eats, that featured this recipe for Sherried Sardine Toast. Boyo, it was damn tasty, I subbed lemon juice and used white balsamic vinegar instead of the sherrie and scallions for the parsley. I also added a crushed garlic clove but the fish were light and yummy, the avocado was rich and creamy and the toast was well toasty. My lesson learned was to try food that you have written off in the past for delicious results.

School Days, Fool Days

So for the first time ten years, I made my return to academia. It's only one class but it feels great to be in that environment, again. Great changes have been made to the class room no more text books or print outs but instead a blog, which can change and be accessed from my fricken' phone (the future is now people). All of our assignments are sent to a flickr group, it's so cool to see projects, thumbnails, ideas populate the group throughout the night . It's like one big studio that never ends.

2010, tell a friend.

Hello world and all that.

So it's new year and a first post. So much to look forward to and hoped to have left behind. I'll just start off with, that I'm hoping that me and the gym that I paid 200 krusty bucks for will become the best of friends. That the gym will call me to hang out on a Tuesday or that I will talk to other friends and that they will be like, "Oh you and the gym are like the best bros ever." That me and the gym will go to the discount mall and buy matching t-shirts that say some crazy ironic thing like this one:

Maybe the gym will send me texts like "dude, (insert: rad inside joke)" and I'll just laugh or that the gym will pick me up and we can go bashing mail boxes at 2am ......or maybe that's a bit much.

Well here's to good things for good people and maybe when they are done with them the rest of us can pick them up on the cheap.
